BC Ferries’ second LNG-fueled vessel transits Panama Canal

By LNG World News Images courtesy of BC FerriesSalish Eagle, BC Ferries’ second LNG-fueled vessel transited Panama Canal overnight on March 5 on its way to British Columbia.
The vessel departed Remontowa Shipbuilding’s yard in Gdansk Poland on February 11 and is currently on its way up the West Coast of North America.
BC Ferries noted in its statement that the ship is expected to arrive by late March. BC Ferries will take final acceptance and ownership of Salish Eagle upon final inspection once the vessel arrives in B.C.
