General Dynamics NASSCO delivers SEA-Vista’s third LNG-ready tanker

By LNG World News San Diego-based shipbuilder General Dynamics NASSCO on Wednesday delivered the Liberty, the third and final LNG-ready product tanker built for SEA-Vista.
The 610-foot-long, 50,000 deadweight ton, LNG-conversion-ready ECO Class tanker is the last vessel of three ECO-class tankers contract with SEA-Vista, a SEACOR Holdings and Avista Capital Partners company.
The vessel designed by DSEC, a subsidiary of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) of Busan, South Korea, features a G-series MAN ME slow-speed main engine and an optimized hull form.
The shipbuilder completed the sea trials at the end of last month.
