West Virginia DEP halts Rover Pipeline construction in two counties

The state Department of Environmental Protection halted construction for one of the West Virginia legs of the Rover pipeline on Tuesday, The State Journal reported.

Construction stopped in Doddridge and Tyler counties for the $4 billion project by Energy Transfer Partners (NYSE:ETP).

The DEP’s order comes after two inspections earlier this year were not up to state sediment control standards.
